Our Full List of Support Services

  • In the course of the academic year, several one-off services are needed for miscellaneous searches and the review of ideas and feedback on assignments and project work, as well as proofreading and suggestions on structure or even purely language-related issues.

    EduExchange Counsellors are trained and experienced in handling such requests at short notice and at times, real time turnaround.

    Below is the list of commonly requested support services:

    1. Alumni interaction

    Our tutors and consultants come from various universities across the UK and abroad. If you would like to be put in touch with a current student on alumni of a university that you have applied to or are planning to apply to, please get in touch with us. Although we usually receive general questions about the university or student life, if you want more specific questions answered regarding the quality of teaching in a particular programme, we will check our database to determine whether we have a representative for a particular programme available.

    2. University applications: We provide advice and assistance on:

    • Choosing a University;
    • Choosing a programme;
    • Preparing a well-researched and strong application and personal statement;
    • Accommodation advice;
    • And a host of other questions that prospective students have.

    3. International Exchange, Gap years and internships

    Globalisation makes multicultural experience a valuable asset. We provide this in a variety of ways to suit learners’ needs and circumstances. We currently have the following programmes:

    • Teacher exchange programme facilitates placement of teachers across cultural settings.
    • Student Exchange programme provides for a term to be completed in a school in another country.
    • Internships, both short term and long term.
    • Excursions and Awareness tours for groups of students.
    • Offshore degree programmes through collaboration of educational institutions in different countries.

    4. CV writing

    As a student, applying for your first job can be daunting. Our team of consultants can guide and assist you in structuring your CV, or in advising you on how to highlight your strengths and achievements.

    5. Accommodation

    Are you a student looking to move to London in the upcoming academic year and looking for alternatives to university residential halls? If so, we can help you with finding suitable accommodation based on your criteria regarding budget and location.

    6. Book Exchange

    Textbooks, especially at university level, can be expensive to purchase. Many of our former students would be happy to sell their books at a discounted rate. If you are looking for any particular book and would like to find out whether we can procure it for you, please contact us and we will get in touch with you.

    7. Proofreading and Restructuring

    We provide proofreading support to students at all levels, and our representatives have vast experience of proofreading documents in their respective fields. When making a request for a consultant, please provide a brief outline of your course, the word count of your document, and the deadline. We will send you information about the background of the proof-reader before proceeding with your request. You may request this service through our Ask a Question service.

    8. Feedback and Suggestions

    If you require a consultant or tutor to provide feedback and suggestions on your work, then please contact us via email with details about your request. We will get in touch with suitable team members to ascertain whether they would be able to assist you, and will then get back to you within three working days.

    If the service that you are looking for is not listed above, please call or email your query and we will respond in detail.
